When was Veterans Cuts started?

July 31, 2023.

How was the organization founded and by whom?

Veterans Cuts was founded by a Jackie Patten, a Barber in East Peoria, Illinois. With the help of Pete Thomson, who is a dear friend to Jackie and a devoted, professional and exemplary team, Veterans Cuts become a reality. The crew of Veterans Cuts holds ourselves to the very highest of standards.

Is Veterans cuts a 501(c)(3) Non Profit?

YES! Our EIN Number is #93-2765364

Who does Veterans Cuts serve?

All United States Veterans from ALL branches.

Are there shops/salons across the country?

Our network of shops/salons is growing organically and eventually be checked on our website’s registry page by state (still in development). If you would like to apply to become a network partner please reach out to us via our registry page.

What percentage of my donation goes to Veterans Cuts?

Veterans Cuts is a direct service organization. 100% of your donation supports the growth of Veterans Cuts. Thank you for your donation.

Can i make a direct donation?

Yes. We have an online form for download on our forms page. Please fill in your information and mail to the address on the form.

Will i receive a receipt for my donation?

Yes. Receipts will be sent within 4-6 weeks if not sooner.

Where can our organizations reports be found?

Form 990 financial statements will be posted prominently on our website under financial upon receipt of our first 990 report.

I would like to sign up for a monthly gift donation. How do i do that?

You can find that form listed on our forms page ( not yet released). Fill out the appropriate sections to donate monthly and send form in to us via regular mail service.

How do i get in touch with Veterans Cuts with any certain inquiry?

As a Veteran, can I just walk-in to any shop and get my hair cut?

NO. You MUST first register with us through our Veterans Registration page.  Veterans Cuts supports local establishments and does not operate as a walk in service nor do we have a physical location.  Supporting local Veterans and Shops is essential. Please make sure to first register as a Veteran.  Thank you for your service.

How do Veterans register?

To register with Veterans Cuts as a Veteran, simply go to our Veterans Registration page, fill out the required information and one of our team members will reach back out to you to finalize the process.

How do Barbers and Stylists apply to become a supporting member?

If you are a Barber or Stylist and would like to get involved, simply head over to our registration page and fill out the required information. One of our team members will contact you and finalize the application process.  Thank you for your support.
