Jackie has over 30+ years of barbering experience as well as owning her own businesses. she is also self employed with successful antique business doing antique shows in several states. Jackie also has past experience in the banking industry dealing with personal banking as well as installment loans, but always knew she wanted to cut hair.
After 7 years of the banking industry, Jackie went on to Midwest Barber College and graduated with the score of 100% on her state boards.
As she cut hair, she built up her clientele and soon opened her own shop. City Clippers Barbershop. It was very successful until she tore her rotator cuff in her hip from pivoting and had to semi-retire. She still holds her Barber’s license but now focuses in different areas.
Jackie still enjoys collecting antiques in her spare time and still travels throughout the mid-west doing antique shows making sure to stop into local Barber shops along the way and say hi and whenever possible…donate a haircut to a local veteran.
In 2023 it was time to live out her dream and thus… Veterans Cuts was born.
